Where a Life Path number comes from
A Life Path number comes from a birth date. Add every digit of the month, day and year together, then keep adding the digits of the result until one digit is left. The three master numbers, 11, 22 and 33, are the exception: they stop where they are rather than reducing. It is the number numerology treats as the main one.

The 11
Eleven is the first master number, and the honest way to describe it is a 2 under high voltage. Everything the 2 does, 11 does more of and with less insulation. The perception is sharper, the sensitivity is higher, and the wiring is not rated for the current. Life Path 11 people usually know this about themselves before anyone tells them.
The signature 11 experience is knowing something without being able to show your work. The intuition arrives first and the reasoning has to be reverse-engineered afterward for anyone else's benefit. This is not mystical in a costume-jewelry sense. It is pattern recognition running below conscious access, and Elevens are frequently right in ways that make other people uncomfortable, including themselves.
The work of an 11 is regulation. This number burns out early and often. Elevens who build a boring, sturdy life around themselves get to use the gift. Elevens who do not tend to spend their twenties in a cycle of intensity and collapse. Twos and Sixes provide the calm an 11 cannot generate alone. A 22 turns the vision into something structural. Eights will demand the plan, which is either exactly right or exactly too much.
The shadow side
The overplayed 11 is specialness as identity. It looks like treating sensitivity as a credential, using intuition to avoid ever being accountable to evidence, and finding ordinary work beneath a life this significant. The tell is a great deal of talk about purpose and very little shipped.
